Visit the palaces of the Joseon Dynasty, focussing on the traditional culture and history of Korea, alongside Jogyesa Temple, the largest temple and representative Buddhist temple in Korea, and Bukchon Hanok Village, where the traditional houses of the former ancestors, remain and maintain their old appearance. From Bukchon Hanok Village we will go to Insa-dong, where you can try some Korean traditional food. This tour does not include shopping.
What to expect
Jogyesa Temple
Experience Buddhism at Jogyesa Temple, the centre of Buddhism in Seoul. 30 minutes
Gwanghwamun Gate (Pass By) the main and largest gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, a landmark and symbol of Seoul's long history as the capital city during the Joseon Dynasty
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Wearing Hanbok, the traditional Korean costume, enter Gyeongbokgung Palace to see the best palace in Korea. Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesdays and will be replaced by Changdeokgung Palace. 1 hour
Bukchon Hanok Village
You will pass through a wonderful street with about 900 traditional Korean houses located between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changdeokgung Palace. Take great photos in a famous space where dramas and movies were filmed. 1 hour
Insadong
This is a traditional Korean street with art galleries, tea houses, and hanji shops, and there are many kinds of food. 30 minutes
