What to expect

Jagalchi Market
Jagalchi market is the most famous seafood market in all of Korea. The sellers yell their bargains and bargain at once, as they have done for many a year. You can try some fresh seafood like squid, octopus, crab, mussels, and prawns. 1 hour

Gamcheon Culture Village
Gamcheon Culture Village is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname as the "Machu Picchu of Busan." Many alleys that cut through this community which is vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents. 1 hour

Haeundae Beach
It is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5km long, over a 30~50m wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making Haeundae Beach perfect for swimming. 1 hour

Haedong Yonggungsa
This Buddhist temple was originally built in 1376 but was reconstructed in 1970 after it was destroyed by the Japanese invasion. You will see the Yongwangdang Shrine here decorated with beautiful and intricate details. 1 hour

Gukje Market
Gukje Market was amongst the first of the traditional markets in Korea, formed when refugees who fled to Busan sat up stalls in order to make a living after the Korean War. There is a wide variety of goods, so you can walk around and also check some food stalls. 1 hour

Dongbaekseom
Dongbaekseom is translated into Camellia, the beautiful flower found growing in islands of southern provinces and southern coastal area of Korea, and which blooms around March., The leaves are thick and glossy maintaining dark green colour through four seasons. You will see the Nurimaru APEC house, a three-story building exclusively built for the final summit meeting for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference. 1 hour

Choi Min-Shik Gallery
Choi Min-Sik is the first-generation documentary photographer who photographed ordinary people with tough lives emanating from war and poverty. His black/white photos capture the moments of people in a very vivid way. Every single one of his photographs is a portrait of the people of Busan. 20 minutes

Amidong Tombstone Culture Village
The stairs and the walls in this village are different from what you normally see. They are all tombstones. That's why the village is called Tombstone culture village. People began living here in tents since 1951. When it became more settled, the tents became too small, they began building on top of the Japanese graves. People think of the ocean what it comes to Busan, but Busan is also a city of mountains. From Ami-dong, the entire city of Busan can be seen. 40 minutes
