You will be driven to the UNESCO and World Natural Heritage sites, and the beautiful emerald-coloured beaches on this Jeju trip. Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak), was registered as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2007 and UNESCO Global Geopark Site in 2010. Manjanggul(Cave), is the world`s largest known lava tube created by volcanic activity. You can feel the magnificence of the landscape that resembles being inside an underground palace. The especially exquisite Stone Turtle that resembles Jeju island is particularly popular. Woljeongri Beach, which means "where the moon stops” and the beach has stunning scenery. Seongeup Folk Village preserves the image of an old Jeju village, Locals actually live inside the village and you get a glimpse of the lives of locals who live in traditional houses and coexist with cultural heritages. The Jeju Haenyeo performance takes place at Seongsan Ilchulbong every day at 2 p.m.
What to Expect
Manjanggul Lava Tube (Pass By)
From the city (your accommodation) to Manjanggul Cave is approximately a 1-hour drive. This is the World`s largest known Lava Tube created by Volcanic Activity. You can feel the magnificence of the landscape that resembles being inside an underground place. The especially exquisite Stone Turtle that resembles Jeju Island is particularly popular. (Manjanggul Lava Tube is closed the first Wednesday of every month and will be replaced with Jeju Haenyeo Museum). Duration: 60min
From Mangjanggul Cave to Woljeongri Beach is about 15 mins. Seongsan Ilchulbong is a UNESCO Heritage site, sitting on the eastern seaboard of Jeju island. Seongsan Ilchulbong is often referred to as "Sunrise Peak" due to its unique shape, which resembles a turtle's shell. The peak is particularly popular for its breathtaking sunrises, offering spectacular views of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. It is a tuff cone volcano that formed over 100,000 years ago. Seopjikoji
Seopjikoji is located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju island and boasts fantastic scenery, especially in April when yellow Canola flowers are in full bloom. " Seopji" is the old name for the area, and "koji" is in Jeju dialect meaning a sudden bump on land. Seojikoji can be replaced with Sangumburi in October and November. Seongeup Folk Village
This traditional village on Jeju Island has been preserved with impressive piles of stones designed to protect roofs from the wind. The buildings have been designated important folk monuments because these castles and homes were built to prevent a Japanese invasion and have remained intact from the Joseon Dynasty. Hamdeok Beach
Hamdeok Seoubong Beach can entertain as many as 50,000 people a day. Roughly 500 meters wide of shallow waters with virtually no waves, this spot is a favourite for families. Complete with modern changing rooms, showering facilities, a parking lot for 300 cars, private lodgings, and camping grounds, it is the most developed in terms of amenities.

Haenyeo Museum
Jeju haenyeo are the strong mothers of Jeju and the spiritual pillars of Jeju residents. Jeju haenyeo formed a merit-based community. They not only cared for the elderly and infirm, such as Halmang Badang and Geseok, and but raise funds to contribute to society, such as villages and schools. They also came up with various contraptions to coexist with the sea, such as beach sweeping and gold snatching. The Jeju haenyeo culture was recognised for its value and was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on November 30, 201. 1 hour • Admission Ticket Not Included
