Tour - 2 night Gyeongju Temple Stay

Gyeongju is the most ancient city in Korea. On your 2-day stay you will get a chance to explore the area a little learning some of the Korean history and culture. You also get to learn about and experience some the Korean monk's martial arts training. Accommodation is included for one night and we will serve you lunch on the first day and breakfast and lunch on day 2 before heading back to Busan.

What to Expect

Day 1

Yangdong the UNESCO village and Temple stay.
Yangdong Folk Village is one of the most famous folk villages in Korea. This village is clan village for the Lee and Son families. 1 hour

Golgulsa Temple
At Golgulsa, the temple is known for its practice of martial arts much the same as the Shaolin temple in China. The monks practice a form of martial arts that is particular to Korea and to the temple, called Seonmudo. The monks will perform for you, and you have a chance to learn about this ancient art. 6 hours

Accommodation:1 night accommodation at the temple.
Meals: Lunch only, dinner not included.


Day 2

The 1000 years capital city in Korea
Bulguksa Temple
Bulguksa Temple is one of the most famous in Korea, filled with many priceless items of national importance housed in it’s beautiful ancient architecture. 1 hour

Seokguram
Seokguram forms part of the bulguksa temple, and the grotto overlooks the east sea. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list together with Bulguksa Temple, and it holds some of the best Buddhist sculptures in the world. 1 hour

Daereungwon Tomb Complex
Discover the ancient Daereungwon Tomb Complex, where history comes alive. Explore royal tombs and immerse yourself in Korea's rich heritage. This fascinating site promises an unforgettable experience. Step back in time and uncover the secrets the historic Cheonmachong Tomb, a royal burial site from the Silla Dynasty, and marvel at its ancient artifacts. 1 hour

Cheomseongdae Observatory
